Facilities during your stay at the Cenacle in Chicago PARKING Please register your car at the desk. You must obtain and display the parking permit on the mirror as soon as you arrive. Guests are responsible for all towing fees for improperly displaying vehicle permits or for not registering a vehicle at the front desk. All unregistered cars will be towed. Parking permits are required between 9 pm and 8 am. In the event that the lot is full, you may park at Children’s Memorial Outpatient Center parking lot at 2515 N. Clark for $6/day. You can obtain parking vouchers at the front desk. EMAIL AND COMMUNICATIONS Telephone: Our pay phone has been removed due to excessive service charges. We apologize for the inconvenience. Email and web connections: There is a business center in Conference Room B on the first floor, where guests can log online for 15 minute intervals if the room is not in use. There is also WiFi access from the Ground Floor through 2nd Floor. There are simple instructions throughout the house for usage and payment. Free dial-up internet connection is also available in Conference Room A through phone jacks located under the conference table and in Conference Room C. To access dial-up internet, you must first dial 9. Messages: All messages will be placed on the bulletin board near the elevators on the Main Floor. WASHROOMS Aside from on the sleeping floors, there are women’s washrooms on the main floor and ground floor. There is a men’s room on the ground floor and 4th floor, unless otherwise noted. COFFEE ROOM Located on the ground floor (to the left when exiting the elevators), you will find complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate and cookies. Please help yourself. There is also a pop machine in the Coffee Room for your convenience. CHAPEL/PRAYER SPACE The chapel is located directly across from the main entrance. Inside the Main Chapel is a smaller space, the Lady Chapel, which is to the right of the main altar. Daily Mass is celebrated there. The schedule is posted on the chapel door. If your group wishes to use either chapel, please contact a Cenacle staff member to reserve times. BOOK SHOP The Book shop is located on the lobby level across from the elevators of the Conference Center. See Bob Raccuglia or Crystal Chan in the Conference Center offices if you have questions.
